Noor Jali Arch

A flat sheet of birch becomes a structural moment. The CNC router carves the jali lattice — hundreds of precise openings that all have to land exactly — and then every edge is hand-sanded buttery-smooth and paint-ready.

Jali work doesn’t forgive sloppy math. Every one of those openings is a decision; the hand-finishing is what makes it read soft instead of machined. And at eleven feet tall by eight wide, it’s built to travel — a four-foot crown that drops onto two seven-foot legs, three parts that line up seamlessly on site.
